This Was An Actual Thing: “Heil Honey, I’m Home”

So I just saw that an Eva Braun biopic was in the works, and it suddenly occurred to me: I know nothing of this woman. The research I did (on wikipedia) yielded little interesting information. She was kind of lame. But as I made my way to my favorite subsection, “Appearances In Other Media”, I was delighted.
In 1990, the British network Galaxy commissioned a show called Heil Honey, I’m Home, a retro 50s style sitcom about the zany antics of Adolf Hitler and his wife Eva Braun. It was canceled after one episode, for obvious reasons. The first and only episode revolves around making dinner for an important guest (a standard sitcom trope), in this case Neville Chamberlain (wikipedia research TBD). It is the shortest lived show in the history of England. But just because it’s canceled, doesn’t mean it’s gone forever. They put Family Guy back on the air, and that show is twice as shitty as this one. And you better believe it’s on youtube (after the jump):
